Clicks for iPhone 17 features a 40% thinner side enclosure, and new contoured design that feels incredible in your hand. At 24% lighter than Clicks for iPhone 16 Pro, this new keyboard is easier to carry, too.

Snap in design. Stand out color.

The new Clicks design makes it easier to add and remove your iPhone quickly and confidently. Past generations of Clicks required you to gently bend back the top part of the enclosure to insert your phone. The new enclosure on Clicks for iPhone 17 allows you to pop in your iphone on an angle, without flexing back the top of the case. It’s faster, and easier than before. An added benefit of the new contoured design allows more of your iPhone to stand out, and lets you interact directly with the native buttons and control surfaces, like camera control.

Lanyard support.

Lanyard attachment points have been added to the bottom corners of the enclosure. This dual point lanyard system has been thoughtfully considered to accommodate both cross body lanyards as well as wrist straps for right and left handed use.

New Colors.

In developing the Clicks for iPhone 17 series colors, we wanted to recognize that the color iPhone people choose says a lot about them. With the new contoured design of the enclosure allowing the iPhone’s color to stand out, we set out to establish a palette that would complement the new iPhone 17 color family, offering both dark and light options. Smoke is a brand new color for Clicks that combines a cool grey enclosure housing, black keyboard and back plate with a splash of red for the Clicks Key. Onyx carries forward our most popular Clicks colorway. Featuring an off-black enclosure, combined with black keypad and red Clicks key, Onyx is classic. We believe that Onyx and Smoke are versatile colors that will blend perfectly with new iPhone color range.

The keyboard on Clicks for iPhone 17 includes the thoughtful ergonomics, satisfying feedback and keyboard design that customers love.

Ergonomically contoured buttons

Contoured key caps increase the surface area of each button while maximizing ergonomic separation between each row. This allows you to quickly find the keys you need by feel, and contribute to fast, accurate typing.

Backlit keyboard

Type confidently at night or in low light with a keyboard back light. The backlight brightness and timeout period can be controlled through the Clicks app.

Keyboard meets case.

​

Magsafe & USB-C pass through charging

Built in MagSafe makes it easy to charge your phone on wireless chargers, mount your phone in the car or use Clicks with other magnetic accessories, like wallets and power banks. The case also supports wired passthrough charging with USB type C.

USB-C data mode

When in the car, you can easily connect to Apple Car Play by putting Clicks into USB-C data pass through mode. This allows you to connect to your car for music, directions and more, without needing to remove Clicks.

Protection for your iPhone

What case wouldn’t be complete without providing your phone protection from basic everyday mishaps. The Clicks case is slightly raised, affording your screen some protection. The four corners of your phone are also protected from minor drops. A raised edge around the camera module helps keep your lenses from damage. On the inside, a soft touch flocking aims to prevent scuffs and scrapes to the phones back.

A new approach to launching product.

We’ve been told by veterans in the mobile accessory space that the first 90 days after a phone launch are the prime window for sales. To get in market on day 1 after the new phones are announced, case brands make calculated bets about everything, from design and features to what the next phone will be named. We started working on Clicks for iPhone 17 back in the spring, but we can’t test it until we get iPhone hardware in our hands the same time you do (we don’t have special access!). So, while dumb-case brands may risk-build product throughout the summer to be there on day 1, Clicks is more than just a case… We have a printed circuit board, firmware, and dependencies on the phone’s software. Given the complexity of the product, we don’t want to take an educated guess and get it wrong. Only once we get final iPhone hardware in our hands to test our design will we lock in our designs, put the product through extensive durability testing and ramp up mass production. This ultimately means a longer wait to get Clicks into your hands, but when we do, it will be a better product for it. TLDR: Hardware is hard! With that in mind, we’re approaching this launch a bit differently. First, we’re producing a smaller initial order quantity. This will allow us to get our first batch done quickly.
